Sports

Sports betting is an incredibly popular pastime that millions of people around the world really enjoy. However, we have very rarely seen this shown on TV, with Money Talks being one of the few TV programs made to show how sports betting works.

For those who like a bet, they will know that the process of choosing selections, putting a wager on and then watching the action unfold as you cheer on your bet is something special.

However, there are many people in the world who don’t bet, don’t see this and don’t understand the feeling that gamblers get.

Hopefully this is where the show Money Talks comes in, opening people’s eyes and giving them a glimpse into the world of sports betting.

What is Money Talks All About?

Money Talks is a program that follows the life of those in Vegas who bet on sports. These are not casual gamblers like many out there, these are people who live off gambling. This means they are successful at what they do, and also that they stake a lot of money.

Any regular punter will get a buzz from their betting but will also feel the nerves when the pressure is on. What we are seeing on screen is this x 100, with far more at stake.

Surprisingly, it makes for great TV. Anyone who has seen this and been looking out for it on the renewed shows list will see it hasn’t come back, which is a shame but who knows what will happen in the future.

The show came across as being very light-hearted and fun to watch, despite the huge amount of money being placed and the implications on each bet winning or losing.

Why Sports Betting is So Popular

Part of having a successful TV show is finding a niche that people love, and sports betting is certainly one of those niches.

Millions of people around the world enjoy a bet, from those who do it now and again on big events, to those that use the betting offers listed on Freebets.com to place regular, daily bets.

We have the fun side of betting, the show brings us the serious side, where there is a lot more on the line. Many punters will dream of being good enough to make money from betting and live off it, so the show is giving us an idea of what that world is like.

In terms of betting, we don’t want to see people do what we do, we want to see the biggest and the best, this is exactly what the show brings, with plenty of drama involved as you would expect.

Could We See More Shows Like This in the Future?

Since the show was launched, the betting industry has changed massively. This is especially the case in the US, the show was filmed in Vegas, where betting was allowed, and it was the only place you could go.

Now, many US states have legal sports betting and more are heading towards that over the next year or two.

This could open the doors for another show like Money Talks to be made, this time focusing on someone outside of Vegas and seeing how they fare with the newly launched American sportsbooks.

The move of legal sports betting across America has seen many new gamblers join the industry, place bets and want to learn more about betting.
